i found this at a flea market but leaved it there past Saturday. I guess it’s still there today. What model it is?
You haven't said how much it is. I certainly wouldn't have paid £134.95 back in winter 1982 when you could have bought a Black and White TV and a stereo boombox for the same amount, or a Pye (Philips) colour TV for £175 in the same catalogue. The expression "Jack of all trades master of none" springs to mind. I would guess these all in one units were aimed at people like students who would have to transport all their possessions with them at the beginning of each term. An advantage I can think of in the UK is that a Black and White TV licence was and is significantly cheaper (1/3rd the cost) than a colour one. Fast forwarding to 2018 and limitations would be: Black and white picture No Digital Tuner. Do you still have any analogue stations in Spain ? No baseband inputs for connecting things like a set top box (although it could be used with a VCR). It was the last two reasons that meant we couldn't sell a colour Sharp portable TV (which my wife picked up off the pavement for free) for £2 at a recent electronics fair. Of course limitations don't stop people wanting things like 78 Gramophone players, while a friend put a lot of effort into getting Windows to display on a much older TV, a 1960s 405 line set (an early UK TV standard which was never broadcast in colour). This gives you an idea. https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/showthread.php?t=130716 CRTs haven't been made for a few years (unless someone in India wants to correct me on that) so fast forward 30 years and it might become a valuable antique.
I walked by a ton of stuff at our local flea market today, it's funny when someone else posts it, it looks like gold but when your looking at hundreds of items they kind of lose their excitment. I would have grabbed that in a heartbeat, I've only seen the other box with the huge TV in it. I could see lugging around with a little 8mm camcorder and playing cool video's through the TV at the local skatepark. And for you Walkman Archive, this would have looked great playing behind you while doing your cassette DJing! I can think of all the cool stuff you could be playing on there while on break or while DJing.
Sorry longman, I missed your reply. I haven't even asked... I agree. Nope. Since 10 years or so we switched to digital.
Walkman archive, I posted a link in the for sale section for Jack Berg Sales currently selling them NOS.
curious. 200$ looks like high to me, but I really don't know. Anyway, that BB is now far away from me; I saw it when I was on vacation but now I'm home.

It's an oddball and I don't think $200 in the box is unreasonably, it just might take a few years to sell a handful to the guys that are really interested in it. Personally I'd like to get my tv units working so I can see a signal, I've added a couple more little guys to the collection but I can't get the Zealous Transmitter working.
