I have one of these Sanyo 6 speaker minis. REW and FFWD don't work - the buttons cannot be engaged, I can push down on them with some force but the REW and FFWD feature never latches on. Play, Rec and Stop work fine and the belt is good. I suspect that somehow the alignment of the plungers has got messed up. Has anyone seen this before? I'm having difficulty removing the plate directly behind the heads, it doesn't want to move even with the screw removed. I know the decks on this model are used on several other models. Alternatively a picture from the service manual showing an exploded view of the tape mech would be very handy. I haven't been able to find one on line.
