Hi all, Nice to see things rapidly getting back to normal. I'm going to make a real effort to stick around this time. We're moving into a much larger house in Feb when we move to Romania and the wife in a moment of lunacy has said I can have some shelf space. Who knows, it might kick-start my collecting.
Hi there, great to see you join the new stereo2go home. Judging from your rate of mobility, you should change your avatar to this: Have a nice move to a nice new city. I'll be glad to contribute to your forthcoming collection, I have an old debt to repay concerning a certain combo...
How is the old Carryin' Compo doing? I owed that poor box so much. I can grab a really small thumbnail via the 'old content links' but it's really tiny.
I've just posted a low resolution pic of your old avatar on the proper thread -- I saved all my old pms in .pdf format, as I was more interested in text than in images. I guess you can use Photoshop and maybe try to improve it. Or possibly other members have a good snapshot of the good ol' goose. The Aiwa Carrying Combo is still kicking ass, I'll never thank you enough for sending it to me (and tech for bringing it back to life). One of the gems in my collection
Oh I am glad, i was worried you were going to say it's still in your repair queue. Believe me, that box was sick of repair queues. Thanks for the image Sal. Life can now resume.
Welcome to the new place AO, seems weird saying that to the very person who introduced me to the old site. I think everyone will so glad you joined again as i know a few were worried you wouldn't, me included. I'm glad Mrs AO is allowing some shelf space, just be careful this doesn't happen:
Hi guys, yes, still around. Currently in the process of sorting out our new home in Bucharest. Yes, the big news is that the wife has allowed me some shelf space. We've moved from a 150 square meter appartment into an anormous 400 square meter house so expect pics of the walkman stash soon. I met up with fellow member NevOne yesterday who also lives here.
Is your job that makes you move country on such a regular basis?...or is it the law enforcement agencies? Looking forward to seeing the new shelves when they're up
Great to see you back AO. Moving from one country to another is not an easy task i guess. Meeting Mihai from Romania in person is so nice to read !! Also waiting for pictures when possible !
Good to see you back here again, Chris! Gosh, since I know you, I think you've been in 3 or 4 countries
