I haven't been able to log on for at least 2-3 weeks, I've been on it a ton of times but for some reason I still find new information on it.
It seems the watch enthusiasts are missing it as well https://forums.watchuseek.com/f296/forum-pocketcalculatorshow-gone-4737669.html That is a major problem with the internet. You can't trust anything to stay around. If you Google the site then after a few results it appears in an article on "Sad Sites". Probably written by the type of people who thing you are sad if you only have an iPhone XR, (or maybe sad if you show any enthusiam for phones at all). Personally I thought it was a very interesting site. I hope it got archived,
I'd take it over if I knew the owner (Paul?) or whom to contact. I can't believe it would be much to keep it online. I remember when vintage Technics site went down, that was a very nice resource, luckily someone took over and rehosted it. https://vintagetechnics.audio/
I expect you know that the original Stereo2Go was an offshoot of the PocketCalculatorShow website. Maybe Hugo has some contact details for the original owners.
Yes! That site is the reason why many of us are here, I wonder why it was down, maybe a hosting change?
Nice to see it back. Does anyone know how to make sure a copy stays on the Internet Archive or Wayback Machine ?
You can check on help here: https://help.archive.org/hc/en-us/articles/360001513491-Save-Pages-in-the-Wayback-Machine I've also installed the WB Google extension. One plus to installing the extension though is that now as you surf around, when you run into a missing page we will alert you if we have a saved copy. That page is there now.
