Maxell Tape for boomboxes

    Maxell is my favorite brand, but I always thought that it was TEAC R2R cassettes designed for bboxes. Something to look at, not just fall back, relax, and get carried away by the tune

    UVD must be some generic AKA, most probably Maxell was not paid to advertise JVC/Sony/...
    But this particular UVD model makes you look Strong :)

    That's a JVC PC150, a very cheap and common box. There's ten of them on Ebay every week.
    They just photoshopped the logo to UVD. I'm surprised they got away with it. :scratch2

    Oh and Dolby on a cheap box like that was a joke. :lollegs:
    Dolby B was garbage, especially if you were playing a tape that had been recorded on a different deck, and one of them was out of alignment.

    Exactly, one forumer pointed this out to me.
    But then that's sort of a hidden, indirect ad .. :)
