While looking for the price of beer in 1989 I came across http://www.wishbookweb.com/the-catalogs/ Time for some window shopping in the catalogues of yesteryear. I can see some minis on the 1985 entry on the homepage.
Nice! Although, I wish they had included the table of contents, as it's very difficult to search through 700 pages to find the electronics.
Having waded all the way through 1985 to find the electronics near the end I thought the same thing. I did actually find an index but it was about half way through. I guess it was easier to find (probably next to the card order forms if like UK catalogues) in the actual paper catalogues.
