WM-r202, WM-100 ect. Battery case capacitor size?

I was wondering if someone with an AA battery case from a WM-r202 could have a look and tell me what capacitance the capacitor inside is?
I believe the same case is also used on a several other models, wm-100, wm-101 etc.

I bought a wm-r202 from eBay nice condition cosmetically and seems to work now I’ve changed the belts and fixed the latch, however it has no battery case. These seem to be in short supply and kinda expensive for a little piece of plastic so I thought I’d make my own.
The AA case has a capacitor in it which I presume is just across the terminals. Idk what it’s for as I wouldn’t have thought there was anything that needed smoothing from an AA, and the 1.2v gumstick cases don’t have them so I thought I should play it safe and use one in mine.

How did you resolve the battery issue. I have the same problem right now with my WM-R202 and can't seem to find any batteries online. Any help is appreciated.

Unfortunately I don't have the case to put the battery in. How do you recharge this battery?

 

there‘s chargers for those - look for a „gumstick-charger“

(Sony BC-7Dxx etc. f.ex.)
