Looking for some cleaning strips to tidy up the VCR I bought recently I looked what was available on Ebay and bought this for under £20 "Buy it Now".

As described in the listing it is 99% complete.
If ever I need to splice a cassette i now have the tool but will probably get some new tape.

I think some of the stuff in the bottom of the case might be additions.
The 1/2p on the price of the cotton buds dates them to before 1984.

BIB was probably the best known make in the UK for record cleaning cloths etc.
I didn't realise they were part of Multicore Solders, a brand that is still going but which was bought by German adhesives giant Henkel a few years ago.

You could even dissect a tape -there is a tool! Cool!

I think you can use that foam to rebuild your old cassette pads!

You probably could, but if you look at the instructions on the back they are actually for tape head cleaning etc, with a pivoted handle provided to allow you to reach awkwardly positioned heads.
