hey, for all those who want to use mp3 in their cassette-player without modifying the unit: http://www.ebay.de/itm/Duo-MP3-Digi...614837?hash=item3adda3fc35:g:fLgAAOSwTuJYpXCH it's NOT my own auction, just found it - i do have one of those and they're a nice working gimmick...
if i am not wrong, they need a special sw to upload/download music into/from the player. I had one back in 2002, it was still the parallel port version, but had voice rec fnct. Good luck for the buyer.
Is this German made? I am more inetersted in gumstick batteries supplied with this MP3 player. Does anybody know whether or not these batteries are standard gumstick battries that can be used in sony or AIWA walkmans or even mini disk players?
nope, not german, rather HongKong (I must dig out mine and have a look) - and the gumstick is slightly shorter than the ones we know for Walkmen
I don't know, it seems a bit impractical. The driver won't be able to use the remote if they're...well...driving.
My Big Question is: does it actually work? When I used Line-out cassette adapter in my car, the head got saturated after 30 min of play. Sound got distorted and then there was just noise. It looks cool but I would think twice before sticking this thing into my Nak deck... TEAC reel-to-reel cassette looks better still
