Hello, I'm from Belgium, I came to this forum and site via Techmoan film about the walkman. I own some devices, as the Panasonic RQ-C10V, and more. Seems that I kept even the old cassetteplayer from Fisher Price' from my children. Via another facebook group I bought the very pretty Hitachi D-800 cassettedeck from 1976-78. Some other stuff I have are two old Marantz PMD201/00B. I still buy some new cassettes from new artists who still use a cassette as medium. I'm still looking for a decent Sony Walkman or a stereo Fieldrecorder (Sony or Marantz)
Hi AngoraWol A warm Welcome ! Some Pics of your collection Would be Nice! What type of cassettes are you still buyiing? Any favourites?
Cassettes? anything where I can put my hands on it, I bought some prerecorded ones, but also quite some mixtapes from the seventies. Yesterday i bought a Technics cassettedeck RS B355 for .... €13 in a 'kringwinkel'. The day before my Pioneer double cassettedeck broke down, and ruined a tape from the Beatles (Yellow Submarine) from the blue box.
Hello Angorawol Welcome to S2G We would love to see some pictures of your current walkmans/ cassette players D6C would be my recommendation to you
I also seem to have an colorful Fisher Price childrens recorder, a Philips NN2233 shoebox and a Fuji Electric TPC-103 shoebox recorder. These aren't in the best condition.
