I can't decide if the wall matches the boxes or the boxes match the wall especially the one centre top.

Does the black Sony 2nd shelf in the Centre have mini-disc ?
We were discussing what mini-disc boomboxes were made a few weeks ago.

Will be interesting to see what it goes for ? Good luck with the bidding ,if no joy
Maybe a 10" from a 70's hifi speaker would work as an alternative ?

I guess the aiwa and altec are a bit camo against the wall
The sony does have MD its a ZS M1 and was expensive back in the day, but it is a nice sounding unit .

Sadly the progress is a bit slow these days , time is whizzing by because life is so hectic. Not enough time left for messing with boxes n stuff :frown:

Nice. My favorites are the Sharp and that Crown. I have found I am drawn to dual VU Meters. They're just sexy on a box even if they're VFD's or LEDs :)

Nice collection. I'm getting to the point where I need shelving

Do you not mean "rather weird," sir:hmmm? (Fair disclosure: I at first thought that you meant the even more-stripped stereo to the left of the Crown boombox. That left-hand one's a TRK-series Hitachi, right? I sort of suspect that from the layout of the cassette-deck keys. And, anyway, with its woofer cones vaguely resembling downward-staring eyes, the "no grills on" Sharp is halfway to being the "rather weird" one.)

I have to say I love the display but the background graffitti really makes this display "pop". Well done sir!
