Fresh out of 1982! There's a listing on the bay for a NIB unit, the Toshiba RT-SX1. It doesn't look that bad but it really was bottom of the mid-fi but it was all I had. That thing used to be the soundtrack for a lot of action on my back yard half-pipe. I can still remember the songs coming out of it and who was there close to 35 years ago! Sadly it was stolen at my first job out of high school, I left it in the office over the weekend and it was gone on Monday. Kind of strange since we had a worker that lived there working a 24 hour answering service.....
No, I still remember how "plasticy" is was, if it was $10.00 I might consider it. The dream is much better than the reality....
