Hello, My old WM-FX101 from '95 is playing slow. I ordered a new belt but it still plays slow. After playing for a while, it's sped up a bit but it's still slow. I haven't used it for many years.
Have no idea how it works with WM-FX101 but I had the exact same problem with my Aiwa. Cleaning, rebelting, cursing (alot!) did not help. Once I did full recap problem was miraculously gone!
I found a motor pot adjustment on the board, which fixed the speed issue. I'll just make a new thread for the muting issue.
