    I just got this ugly old Sanyo M 9850 dirt cheap and saw potential in it! Belted the tape deck and deoxitized the pots cleaned the dirt and dead bugs out of it and busted out the red spray can!     How did you go about the lettering? Taped it beforehand or did you detach and reattach it?
