    WOW!!!!!!

Have not been on Stereo2go in quite a while... I used to be an active member, quite active, many a year ago.

Now I need to introduce myself.

So, re-introducing "Moi" ... lived in France, went to Ireland, came back to France. Used to have over a few hundred Bboxes (main collection, with basically only mints, was a good 50). then little by little started to have lass room and decided to start selling, did that until I found myself with 15 (which I still have).

One of my occupations/assistance, with Stereo2go back in the day.... I would offer to members, near and far, fixing their Bboxes (what I could do)... and I also made sliders, knobs, trims, etc.

But, what I am really curious about is... who the heck is left/posting/still around from 10 years, or so, ago??????

    Chat later!!!!

Just had a look.... I still exist, I have found me!!!! It says that the last time I had came to the site was in 2016. I guess I had logged on to see how all was, but... If I remember correctly... I might have found something complicated (not logical), thus had not come back since.

I wonder if there is a possibility to go back to see when I had really joined... I think 2003/2004 ... maybe 2005.

If anyone knows how to check, let me know!

    Later!!!!

Welcome back Brian. Take a walk through the different subforums and see who is there. I'm sure you'll find old friends.

Brian, welcome back! We've had some of the first members stop in the last few months, even Walkgirl stopped in to say hi. I'm just waiting for ARKAY to give an update on what he's up to.

A big chunk of the early forum is missing from the archives, I think 2002-2006; I think I joined around then as a youngster reading about all you mega-collectors and seeing these boxes that I'd never heard of before. There's a link to the old forum at the top, you may find information that way but the search engine doesn't work great.

The best way to look back is to get on the wayback machine and just check different dates, you can't read the treads but you can see the subjects and the members.

    Hey Guys... thanks!!!!

Walkgirl posted!!!! Cool, used to post a lot (we almost met up in Holland, but she was taken by work!

So, if a big chunk is missing, most likely will never get the year. Oh well, will check the link!

Yeah... so... only starts in 2006. We'll never know, can only guess!

Now, I met my wife in 2003/4... I had started posting/being active a couple of months before we met. So, end off 2003 beginning of 2004, I think I could find out If I find what day, month and year I got my GF9696, for it is because of that Bbox (needing help with it) I came across ST2G.

Trivial, but I want to know...:crazy

The Wayback Machine gives me a browser error message so I can't see the first posts on the forum, maybe I'll pull out an old computer and see if it makes a difference.

Hi Brian! I’m still here (just about) but I’m a mere newbie at about 7 years I think. Bit quiet on the boombox front these days sadly. But welcome back :)

Your actually on the Wayback Page I posted, funny I didn't notice before. The date is 1/4/2006.

Every once in a while I look back at the old threads for repair information or box info. It's amazing how many people have left, especially among the mega-collectors, I feel like once you have all the cool boxes, it's not as much fun. There's a YouTube Video of a guy in Chicago that has wall to wall boxes for sale, some really cool rare ones. All were for sale and now all gone, I feel like he was older and was probably a big poster on here years ago but decided to clean up and get out.

The good news is there's a ton of new members picking up the hobby for the first time, boomboxes and walkmans are seeing a huge resurgence and S2G is one of the go-to places for fellow enthusiasts.

HEY GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Still her, I see!!!!!

Yeah, I will be in and out having a read, posting, not posting. Just a pass time, no longer a passion.

What I do have, once in a blue-moon, are people who start private chats for bits and parts. I try to make what I can, but not as much.

    Chat later Dudes and Dudettes!!!!

I remember your avatar deech.... slightly change though!

No posting a lot... Oh, guys & Gals, do have to say that my tool to make M90 top trims has died on me :frown: after a little more than... what has it been, 10 years or so. Oh yeah!

I am gonna post that info in the parts wanted area, for I have still been getting the random, "I need a top M90 trim" IM... and have been able to make some until just last week!
