Hello all! I recently repaired my Sony WM-D3 with the new Marian GC, all mechanical functions works fine now but there is is no sound out whatsoever, the battery indicator shows one led in playback mode and all of them in FF or RW. Tried new batteries. Before my repair everything worked and sounded great apart from the clicking CenterGear issue. Does anyone have an idea as where to look? A search on this lovely forum yielded no results. Thanks! Wobbe
- Check the wires one by one, probably you might find a lose wire. - did you unsolder the wires from play head in order to fix the gear? in that case see if they are soldered back appropriately. - if you need any picture wires attachment let me know that way i can post some photos for you
Thanks for the thorough answer! I did exactly that. No results though. However i found out what the issue was. On the main PCB there is a switch marked PB / REC. this one was stuck in REC. moving it in the right position fixed it.
