About a year ago I purchased my first Walkman. (Wm-2091) It works apart from motor noise. I am wanting to replace the motor and the connector and possibly replace all of the capacitors. Where would I get the bits for that? Cheers

Welcome!!! And do post your efforts, as @Mister X said, we have a few dozen/hundreds(?) of members here restoring their babies but only very few restoration photos. I am trying to fix this by keeping my Leica camera next to my soldering iron: it reminds me to snap photos of my progress

Welcome!! I have also wondered about replacing motors in Walkmans, how do people go about that? I don't really know where to start in terms of sourcing a suitable replacement, not that I need to yet - generally they're built to last a lifetime!
