A couple of days ago a user posted the question (nonverbatim) "What analog album master tape do you want to hear". prabhadevi apartment mumbai

My question is: what album/track, regardless of recording media would you like to hear in its full dynamic range/high dynamic range? commercial property for sale in pune

I use the term "high dynamic range" since not all releases may benefit from being the full dynamic range.

I am a lifelong metalhead, so there are a lot of hard rock and metal albums i wish to see released as "uncompressed". Really too many to mention all. A majority of classic heavy metal released i have only heard in poorly remastered CD releases.

My opinion is that albums by Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, and many others should be released in if not full dynamic range, but high dynamic range.

    Thoughts?

Too many albums to say. I'd say many of modern alternative rock nowadays need less compression. Bands like: Sevendust, Default, Shinedown, Tremonti, Alter bridge...

I am not sure i can name any one album, but i would say every single album i have. It would be good to hear them all in the full original range they have.

Thankfully, my major “fix” of “classical music” (I subscribe to Alex Ross sentiment in his bestseller The Rest is Noise that “classical music” is a misnomer!) is never compressed :)
I would love to get uncompressed tunes of Imagine Dragons: catchy tunes but CDs are sooo compressed onto max loudness that I use them when testing h/p amp power in different Discmans
