    A piece of aluminium.
    Sharp wood cutter.
    Sandpaper.
    Superglue
    Baking Soda.

Very nice but I'm not sure the super glue will hold up long term, in the future use something like ABS, Styrene, or PVC where you can solvent weld the joints, they melt and rebond together. Check out this video with Adam Savage, he makes a fake Walkman out of Styrene.

That's pretty interesting, I've heard a little bit about it before but never saw it in action. I checked another video making PVC boxes and he also used super-glue so I don't know, I use it for small broken plastics but you can't put any torque on it or it will snap. If you have access to the solvents, I think you'd like them, they go on really thin (like super-glue) but have an amazing strong bond. These are used a lot in plastic pipe systems for drainage and water supply so they have to work, you can't have solvent welded pipes go bad behind walls.

You've got some really good skills, I need some motivation to make battery doors, I bought black pebbled ABS last year but I need to run some more 220v out in my shop for my cutting tools.
