folks, i'm considering to sell my DD-100 Boodo Khan.

when put in my display ages ago it was ok, now the centre-wheel needs replacement.

off course i have a replacement, question is just - as the unit hasn't been opened before - shall i sell it as is with sparepart or fix it myselfe ?

    what's your opinion ?

It depends on how confident you are in doing the repair. Working with a click is worth more than not working at all.

If you believe you can fix it yourself, you should do so. From what I've seen (and I can understand this myself as I wouldn't feel like fixing a purchase), fixed units that can promise the next user to work reliably without an impending known serial issue, these can score higher amounts. Broken units however are just that, broken.

    Also it's a nice unit.

The biggest complaint we seem to hear these days is the unit arrived not working, I'd fix it, the newest buyers don't seem to have the skillset to fix these things and repair techs are getting few and far between. As a buyer I expect a pretty big discount for non-working units (which most seem to be now a days).
