Does it come with the entire cassette compartment stuffed with Cocaine or something ? I have seen listing like this on Ebay before and just don't understand them. $250 might be a realistic but optimistic punt in case someone really wanted this model in as new condition
Some people are in cloud cuckoo land, I'd buy that at a bootsale for about a pound! Surely you'd go for this one if you really wanted one, especially as this is probably quite a common Walkman anyway....although I'd add that this is probably overpriced too! https://www.ebay.com/itm/SONY-SPORTS-WALKMAN-AM-FM-STEREO-CASSETTE-PLAYER-MODEL-WM-FS191-NIB-Never-Opened/164210043055?_trkparms=aid=1110001&algo=SPLICE.SIM&ao=1&asc=225074&meid=b9bf2208eb9c442c9e0e7a9960b9fd36&pid=100010&rk=2&rkt=12&sd=193300918585&itm=164210043055&pmt=0&noa=1&pg=2047675&_trksid=p2047675.c100010.m2109
If the expensive one was in the right Charity Shop I would be tempted to point out that it already had the price on it i.e $34 I did that with an LP once Unfortunately I don't think people in the UK will be buying or selling anything at car boot sales this year. As for Charity Shops, in Highcliffe (where there are about six) I would guess that the only shops open will be the Co-op and Tesco. Now that the Toilet Roll situation seems to be back to normal it isn't worth going there to look.
Yes, sadly I doubt there will be anything like a bootsale for quite a while yet, not that things like this pop up that often anymore, all get sold on ebay for silly money
My Sony Sports model: Same functions + digital AM/FM/TV-tuner w/30-presets, $5.00 at an estate sale... and really wishing it was here with me now.
Absolute bargain!! Seriously though, we'll see how this listing goes... The seller will probably come to their senses, right...?
