Whats the difference between a WM-D6C and a TC-D6C?

    Hi all

    I've been looking to purchase a D6C but now I'm confused as I've seen a Wm-D6C and a TC-D6C. What's the difference and why do they basically look the same and have the same case?

    They are the same machine.

    Hi, looking at the service manual, which is for both there don't seem to be any differences. I comes down to different accessories and packaging and naming.

    Yes. They're the same. Just a matter of different names in different markets (which affects the accesories incuded as well). There are quite a few Sonys with such name differences, among others there are the WM-D3/TC-D3, WM-30/WM-10MkII, D-555/D-55, D-350/D35
