That looks to be tiny. Have a look at this at 4:19 and you can see the earlier version in a Panasonic catalogue and a description of how they were used in TV Sci-Fi series Space 1999

Companies were obsessed with Pocket TVs in the last century with the UKs Clive Sinclair making similar models to both those.
I have a Panasonic 2.2" CRT colour set, but not surprisingly it is far larger than either of those despite not having a battery compartment.
Does your little Panasonic take batteries ? The main thing that caused the Sinclair Flatscreen TV to flop was that it needed very expensive non rechargable lithium batteries made by Polaroid.

I've got one of those beauties but there's an issue with it, I can't remember but I think it has a rechargeable battery? The other issue is the wall wart male plug is flat on one side? I don't have the original plug so I can't try it out and the rechargeable battery is long dead.

@autoreverser , Please share your experience with VHF transmitter. I have some vintage pocket TVs and would like to see them working again.

Or from an old video recorder take advantage of the antenna output ... which broadcast the video audio signal on channel 36

i did order me an rf-modulator (from av-signal) and a wideband vhf transmitter. the modulator works exactly like those in a vcr but are much smaller. you can use those things alone if you‘re close enough with the receiver-antenna but it‘s not really an option if you want to walk around with your portable tv. i‘m still waiting for mail from far east and will let you folks know...
