Welcome back lad, you sure know you're decks bro, has dolby b/c/dbx, not sure if she works tho as i hardly use cassette these days
Another one of mine lads.....i sold the 90's technics, just not my thing guys....i still have the main system in this thread though, that is an earth shaker and a keeper for sure
Two girls I knew both bought Aiwa systems like that new, back in the 1990s. They were quite good for what they cost (the Aiwas that is) I suspect that the unit they are all sat on is some kind of 1960s Radiogram as well. Why have furniture if you can use another bit of audio gear ?
Hey lads that is an Aiwa nsx 999 mk 2 when it was launched it was £500, i had the newer silver 999 but it was quarter the power of this one and it turned out to be another scam of ebay as it kept cutting out......that is indeed an audiogram longman we call it the coffin dodger lol.....i have just bought one of my technics systems back as i has one the same back in 91, i think i paid £10 a week on hire purchase for it... problem with all this hifi you can't use it all at once and im supposed to be cutting back lol
Yep, same here. Never had one but they always said that NSX series were good for that money and for purpose. Not a component HiFi of course but a good all-purpose home system for an average listener.. Some of them still say that.. 25 years later, today NSX-V900 On the local Craigslist, a tad modified.
Are you still cranking this one up? I was looking at an old Kenwood and I thought about hooking it up....
im not sure which one you mean mr x.....that big system, the big speakers are gone to my mate downstairs i am more than happy with my mission speakers and monitor audio ones....you could probably here me half a mile away on that old system lad which was not fair on anyone else in the building bro lol
