Hi, Is it a good idea to change C111/C211 in D-555 to 220uF or higher value from original 100 uF? The sound quality can be improved by this modification ? And what about C401? Is it neccessary to change value? Thank you!

Yes, definitely upgrade to 220uF during recap. Regarding C401: 100uF/6V upgrade to 100uF/10V SMD. Ideally, C401 should be 220uF/10V but it won't fit. Here is my own D-555 after recap:

Thank you for the info. I have bought 330uF for C111 and C211, Nichicon KA series. And Elna 220uF/10V for C401. I have to try best to put them into that small space.
