Anyone available to help me out as to why I get little to no sound on my Aiwa HS-JX303 both cassette and radio

I don't have that model but some common issues with old units is, frayed headphone cables (new headphones), dirty volume control (DeOxit) or loose wires in headphone jack (resolder wires).

It looks like the unit has a rotary dial volume control, move it rapidly in both directions to see if there's any sudden volume changes, that cold indicate it needs a cleaning. Lightly apply pressure on the headphone jack while playing and see if there's also any changes in volume. Bigger issues are beyond my skills.

I just saw that you were using Bose Headphones, I've heard that some newer headphones will not work with the older players, maybe one of the more knowledgeable members will know.

As i said before it's normally bad caps with these aiwa models, you could try different headphones as mr x has suggested

    100% bad caps
They all need replacing and hope the capacitor piss has not eaten the board too much
happens to all AIWA models from the time.

Sound works it was a bad speaker within the Aiwa controller. I tested on my aux cord to my speaker and there is sound vol 1 -10.

Radio Raheem I think what rcpilot23 means is capacitors can leak their contents all over the circuit board. See attached images.

Radio Raheem boomboxes have never interested me, it was always personal stereos and full on home systems.
I am sure there must be good boomboxes out there that I would like and enjoy, but because they have never interested me I have never looked.
