Hi, I’m new here: lots of interesting discussions and a lot of passion. I’m an audiophile for many years (tube amplifiers, single driver speakers, eg ) but hadn’t really spent too much time with portable audio apart from keeping a nice set of headphones with me (B&O H6). I’ve recently started upgrading my laptop and mobile setups however the real revelation came when I’ve started listening to a boom box and a few cassettes and I’ve realized that I really dig the sound. I’ve then started looking at stepping up my whole portable audio setup including getting my old Walkman working etc. It looks like an interesting journey!
Very nice, there's a time and place for all equipment but watching mechanical players is a true treat.
