Well, maybe not so mega, but I can't resist a little wordplay for the title. Though I guess it is kinda mega for me, since it's the largest lot purchase I've done so far. Mostly because large lots this this doesn't appear for sale too often, and also because of the price. This one though was very cheap. The whole lot was under $20! Overall it's decent lot with better-quality units. But these are the ones that really piqued my interest Stereo units are always welcome! And I also like the Pearlcorders with their modular approach. Also rather rare to find higher-end logic control micro-cassette units like this. There's comparatively much fewer of them when compared to logic control compact-cassette walkmans. Anybody has experience with this particular one? The Pearlcorder X-02. The build quality feels really good.
Oh yea! There's only a handful of logic-control players, the X-02 is rare around here. I've never seen that speaker on the Olympus XR before, do you have a part number? After years of looking I found an Olympus DS-1 FM Radio for my little guy, I don't know if there were other "attachments." It looks like those were from a collector, there's some nice units that were big money when new, did AO send you the last stuff from under his bed?
The speaker is an SP-4, sadly there's quite a bad case of batery corrosion on the top side. Here's some more pics of the SP-4.
