Hi everyone, I'm hoping to get a little guidance regarding electrical adjusts for a D-303 as per the Sony Service Manual. Under the 3.5 and 3.8 volt adjustment sections, it states that one must "Perform X.XV adjustment with an AA size battery". What does this mean exactly? My only guess is that the unit should be powered by battery instead of wall wart. Thanks in advance for the help! Adam
This is page 7 of the D-303 service manual. One assumes they mean to load the Discman with two AA as a power source in order to check that the DC-DC power supply section is providing the correct 3.5v and 3.8v.
