'Back To Life' UK BBC tv series - a dark comedy drama

    This one took a bit of searching...
    The main character, Miri (who's attempting to rebuild her life after 18 years in prison) has a Sanyo M-X315L in her bedroom:

    I only recognised it at all because one of my mates had one in the early 1980s...

    ...& Miri also uses a Philips D8097 - to communicate with her parents when she finds out her mum had been having an affair with her ex-boyfriend while she was in prison! British comedies are a hoot :)
