Greetings from Dallas Texas. I don't have any Aiwa walkmans but I do have a lot of that brand of boomboxes.

What kind of repairs do you do? Just replacing belts or in depth replacing capacitors and that sort of thing?

In multiple plastic containers are my walkmans so I have over a hundred of them mostly Sony very few any other brand and I don't think any of the ones that you have by the brand Aiwa.

Yes, replacing the capacitors is something that has to be done on those Aiwa’s because those are known to be replaced. To my surprise I’m learning soldering and removing capacitors and replace them very quick.

I started with Sony EX walkmans, but once I repaired a Aiwa HS PX610 I was amazed by the difference in sound quality compared to 7 other Sony EX models which I replaced the belt.

DSL is far better sounding then the Sony’s

Aiwa also uses a different kind of head
