Don't have one. Don't want one and you should read the online reviews, as most of them are fake. It's not that fabulous. Try and see if you can find anybody that's made a video playing the darn thing. I'm not interested in this. I have and had lots of models that I like that are better than this just depending on how much money you want to spend but I wouldn't buy anything new like this. I did make the mistake once of buying the ion brand. Boombox. It's got built-in rechargeable battery and you can play digital crap in it and it's got a cassette player that's lousy and the radio is just not that great. I paid like 80 bucks for it. Brand new. I don't use it.
Value your opinion and gather it a NO! interested to see one in the flesh to see what the plastic is like. But thanks for your honest advice. Cheers Kiwinut
It's OK, but the build quality isn't that great. Nor is the bass. The GPO "Manhattan" sounds better, but it's only bluetooth and USB (plus it has a ridiculously loud woman's voice that announces every function change). If you must have a cassette player, get one of these, they are less than one-quarter the price of the Brooklyn: Ion Street Rocker Ion Boombox Deluxe Riptunes Retro Boombox Or, if you only care about CDs and tuner, get a used Sharp GX-M10. Or if you only care about bluetooth and USB, get a used Sharp GX-BT9X.
i only just seen this,, Yes i have one of these. Horrible stereo. So quiet you could talk over it, i don't mind the cheap chinese tape deck, it works n sounds ok, i don't mind the cd player, Bluetooth is ok.. but the rest i hate, sound isn't good, not very loud, not very bassy, terrible and weak reception on DAB Radio, no matter what channel you tune in to it's always breaking up, Vu Meters don't go to the beat, they just flash around to their own tune, tape counter isn't a counter, Battery is garbage, and if you charge the battery and use the stereo, then switch it off, next time you use it the battery would have drained, cos it will drain the battery even when you don't use it.. i paid £50 for mine about 2 years ago, i never use it, and i never look at it. never again, unless i see one for free or dirt cheap.. i keep looking at the antennae's on mine thinking i can snatch them for another radio, it's about the only things worth having off it..
