I found a cool paper from Ampex over on worldradiohistory.com, lot's of little nuggets of cassette archaeology. Kind of like Xerox and GUI, I don't think Ampex get's the credit it deserves outside of maybe commercial settings.

The X Poster says this is the first advertising with the "new" Maxell Logo from 1970. I wonder what all the batter formulations are for, I feel like we just had two, normal and alkaline.
