I have two Sony Walkmans (WM-FX101 and a WM-2011), both have the same problems. The belts have snapped and now the auto stop keeps switching the machine off and it won't turn. How do I access this as it has no screws on the back. I have already broke another WM-2011, I don't want it to happen again.
try to separate the back and front panel gently. I had this issue with 2 different Sony walkmans including Big Lebowski walkman and found out that there are plastic components that comes from front panel and snaps inside the back panel. (thanks to Samovar who mentioned about it). Be careful not to damage your walkman.
