    I wasn't even thinking about it being an all-in-one, it isn't bad looking and looks like it might be nicer than the Sanyo BPC we used to see.

    From 1976, this is interesting, most of the mono boomers back then look very similar. Anybody know what model this is? Singapore is where the real clone wars was happening, I wonder if George Lucas got that terminology from here?

    From 1978, GEC had a few boomers in the early days, the most popular was seen in magazine ads being blown out the door, recognizable from the slide in 2nd tape deck.

    Yes it is in Belgian Dutch. The article gives purchase advice for Belgian children for their new boombox. There are nice things in it. Don't be blinded by the amount of buttons and features, but choose quality. Really listen in the store before you buy it. Also the advice that there should be FM on the radio in connection with the new free radio stations that broadcast music. They like it less if there is no DIN input on a radio. What is striking is that they mention the obsolete Philips 774, but not the D8803 for example. It seems that Philips did not export to Belgium at that time? Nice find Mister X :)
