Hello everyone I’m quite new to portable cassette players and just found my grandparents Sony wm-fx33 and just put a new band in it after 25 years it works perfectly Until today when I went to open the cassette door and a spring popped out and the cassette door won’t close If anybody knows how to fix this issue If there isn’t a way of re attaching the spring I thought of just putting a zip tie on the front of the player that holds the door shut so it doesn’t when I’m using it
If the spring looks like this little coil one, you’ll need to remove the rear cover to reinstall it. Hopefully the attachment tabs haven broken.
