Hi, I like the idea of using my Walkmans with wireless headphones, which would be convenient for listening while gardening, doing DIY etc. I have a pair of good Bluetooth headphones and I’ve seen various small Bluetooth transmitters advertised - something along the lines of this product: https://www.fruugo.co.uk/bluetooth-...tm_source=organic_shopping&utm_medium=organic Has anyone tried one of these or anything similar? Any advice or recommendations, or issues with conpatibility or sound quality?
I recently bought a Esinkin Receiver (to go to boomboxes) and it works fine, I'm not sure if they make a transmitter.
I’ve been using the Avantree CK310 for a few years. Tiny, reliable, very good sound quality. Not much bigger than a 50 cent piece. https://www.amazon.com/Avantree-Blu...ee+ck300+bluetooth+transmitter,aps,207&sr=8-4
Thanks but it looks like that is a Bluetooth receiver / FM transmitter - what I'm after is a Bluetooth transmitter, which will take the audio from the headphone output of a Walkman and transmit via Bluetooth to wireless headphones.
I use my Bluetooth transmitter with Sony 1000 XM4 headphones and Walkman/Aiwa cassetteboys and the sound is first rate. I use a 1Mii ML300 transmitter after it received excellent reviews a couple of years ago. Can be paired with 2 devices. USB fast charging supported. Was available in white but the link below has them in black. Very small and fits into your headphone holder. https://www.amazon.com.au/Bluetooth...hvtargid=pla-1943498536942&psc=1&gad_source=1
I have a ion brand cassette adapter that I can stick into any cassette player and use Bluetooth that way. But I don't because I don't like using Bluetooth because of the frequency limitations of the airwaves that cut back on the bass frequency and also on the high frequency so I just don't use it. It's a convenient tool but it's just out of tool. It's not a preferable device for listening with. That's my point. So I just stay analog. I don't like fusing digital in any form unless I absolutely have no other choice.
