I was surprised we didn't have BASF yet outside of lot's of cassette tape ads.

A quick Google translation of the BASF ad. Interesting.

Do you do it through a doc translator? I tried on a few other files but none would translate.....

Simple task with Google translate on a PC.
    Open translate.google.com
    Select Images.
Keep the pages in two side by side windows so that you can drag an image from the page into google.translate.
Drag the image that you want to translate into the box.
You will get the translation in any available languages.
    Download the translated image.
There is no need of even downloading the image, you can drag the image from a website directly into google translate.

as far as i know BASF only branded units with their name, they never run an own production for equipment, only for tapes, cassettes (and films for cameras off course…).
their mini-components f.ex. came from AIWA and they also had quite a good looking mono boombox in their portfolio (pic from net, not mine):

I was thinking that some other brands, it weighs nothing but with BASF, there's probably some guts inside of it.
