Hello from St Petersburg Fl - the warmer one

    Hi, 82 year old retired architect with a lot of cassette decks, Nakamichi Receivers, B&O Speakers, AR -2's,
    now trying to get the w&f out of a Toshiba KT-RS1 enough to make it listenable - I'll update this with a detailed equipment list soon.

    As far as other portables, I have two Nakamichi 55os. Well maybe they aren't really Walkmen, more Staggermen, but they really do perform

    Welcome to the forum, feel free to share your Naks (or any other gear), you've probably seen my Field Recorder Thread, I love those iconic 70's models. While the Naks have escaped me, I won one on ebay and the seller retracted it on me, I do have some other powerhouses from JVC, Technics, Superscope/Marantz, Sencor and more, they still look beautiful even though most are shelf queens these days.

    Good luck on your Toshiba repairs.
