I found another page of the Star Blazer Sony Ad, one of my favorite animated shows from the 70's! I had better quality posted that didn't upload correctly but can't remember where I first found them.... I'll change when I find better versions.

Another from the same time frame, when I was a kid their small TVs were taking over and they followed with portable audio. For some reason the component stereos never seemed to be as popular.

"Fade in, Fade out" The drug culture here at that time used to say "Drop in, drop out" wonder if there's a connection?

Even in 1965 Sony had some neat products, the tiny TV's were huge, meaning they were cutting edge, we all wanted the Dick Tracy Wristwatch TV for some reason. The little 8-transistor radio seems to be a hit with collectors plus they look "modern."

Sweet!!! What a cool brochure from 1985 and I love the red version. Check out the Sony TQ-50, it looks like a little amp and wall mountable speakers, fun stuff. Thanks tas66dc!

1988, The Orange Boys. I posted some small finds before, The Orange Boys seems like a JDM accessory rack for audio, this brochure has a ton of neat stuff. It looks like there was individual pieces so you could build your own or just buy off the rack. Thanks tas66dc!

From 1985, the Sony D-700. This is a micro-componant, no batteries, big money and tiny, just what we'd expect from Sony. Anybody have one of these beauties?
