JVC PC-6 Boombox New In Open Box

JVC PC-6 Boombox. It's new in open box with all internal boxes and packaging as well as accessories and manual. Thinking about selling. Bought it from an estate sale and never tried to test it. I don't want to take it from new to used. I did look at the speakers and they are still in like new condition with no deterioration or yellowing. There's no yellowing anywhere. I know that this is a very rare one and don't see any others in the same condition. Asking for realistic offers. Google estimates it's worth as approximately upwards of $2500. In Salt Lake City, Utah.

 

I'd be interested in knowing what sources Google was using, considering that so few of these have ever been traded, which means sale prices are unavailable or private.

 

I'm not sure exactly but it seems to be based on similar condition PC-5 boomboxes.

 

So they're basing it on auction listings, most of which aren't true auctions, instead they're buy-it-nows with fixed prices set to the moon. And if someone actually makes an offer and buys it, the agreed-upon price is not disclosed
