I saw this film this afternoon. IMHO well worth seeing, In the trailer you can spot a large silver boombox at 1:46. In the film it is in shot for most of the scene which is when he is working out the choreography f0r the "Beat It" video. I'm off to watch the actual thing now.
I went to see the film on release day, thoroughly enjoyed it. Don’t care what the critics say, if you like Michael Jackson’s music this film is a must.
The cinema was busy for mid-day on a Monday. I expect it was the same professional critics who slated "Bohemian Rhapsody" which was by the same producer, and lauded "First Man" one of the worst films I have seen for decades. Some of the critics were even criticising Elvis Presley In Concert, which is, as the name suggests concert footage of Elvis.
