I don't really know the movie, but I am assuming that is where the song comes from?

Going back to the Sony E-88 on page 43, I was just watching a video on the USA Sony Museum and the guy that runs it has the E-88 Amplifier, given to him by Akio Morita from his personal system! His is labeled Espirit.

Great movie and I do like the song. They spread out "white" sand for the effect in the beginning of the movie clip and song.

*ESPRIT? I had never heard of that before, and it appears most units aren't badged that way, so maybe it was a Japan only thing too? I wonder how they fit in with the ES line.

I have an Aiwa catalogue that I got from Brashes when I was a kid (I am sure I posted it somewhere here) and it had a V1200 midi system on the cover. When I did manage to get one years later, I was always disappointed that it didn't have the small "Craftsmanship" decal on the cassette deck that the model on the front of that catalogue had!

There's a good story about the line on the left side, Axel on TVK knew everything about these companies and was a big loss when he left the website. Interesting notes included the UK was the weakest EU Market for Sony and Germany was the strongest.

1979, I didn't know this had an EQ! Never seen it before, unless I already posted it.
