Newly setup cassette database where you can add tapes to your collection, wishlist, quantity. Very easy to use and within your collection you can view by brand etc. Atm nearly 3100 unique tapes in that DB and you're able to add tapes that aren't in the DB yet. https://www.cassettecatalog.com/index.php
That looks like an interesting project, it's wild how people are now really into NOS tapes, I'm trying to think of other collectables that might be similar but I'm coming up with stuff like Coke Cans and Bottles.
Well there are a few databases but read only, this one is more interactive. Site is run by two Dutch guys who do this in their spare time. I've added my collection there, you can find it on the site, also under BF. But also this database does not contain every tape i have in my collection so will be adding some tapes there. The database on 45cat is run by a guy called Hook and you aren't allowed to add new tapes to that database, solo project of him but contains over 22500 cassettes and still i have plenty of tapes that aren't in his database.... Nice thing about cassettecatalog is that one tape represents all lengths, this doesn't clutter up the database with every length and you have a clear view of which tapes are in the collection... Biggest part of my collection is TDK, have over a 100 unique tapes now but i also collect used tapes but these need to be in tiptop shape, like new without wrapper....love looking at them but love using them more
Easy to navigate clean look and user friendly interaction it has the potential to be a usefull tool for collectors , I can contribute with some old used rarities in good condition. Is there a connection with vintagecassettes.com I'm asking because of the watermark.
No connection with vintagecassette but anyone is allowed to use their photos as long as the watermark is shown. I think eventually all will be replaced by new photos from members. Its a bit like walkman.land also uses info and pics from walkman archive etc.
A mobile cassette database for Android. Over 8,000 cassettes. And cassette recorders too! You can record cassettes directly in the app via the Discogs website and play them. https://apps.rustore.ru/app/org.goodcontent.cassettes
Well i think you're in the wrong place..we like to record our real life cassettes on real life tape decks and play them on real life walkmans, boomboxes etc....i think you're better of on some digital computer forum so you can all stay in the digital domain.....we will stay in the analogue realm, ok? ps. pretty asocial promoting your gadget app in anothers thread about a new database you also did this on cassettecatalog which got deleted and you got banned....
