I recently got a WM2 on each I replaced belt. It is working, but it seems that FF and REW operations doesn`t auto shut-off when tape reaches the end. I had a WM2 walkman back in 80`s and I could swear that ti has a auto-stop on those operations. The button didn`t jump out, but motor stopped working. In the manual I cant find any description for FF/REW auto-stop, only FWD auto-stop is mentioned. Next thing that I dont understand is why it has 2 on/off switches inside. One gets engaged when Play is pressed the other one is engaged when FF or REW is pressed. Electronically they both do the same thing, so I cant see a point here.
