Was given this Sony EX-36 yesterday. From the early nineties. In good condition and works well. Just had to clean the head and pinch roller.
This happens to quite a lot of the radios that I have bought off of Yahoo, Japan, where they don't have any cassettes to play. Therefore, they don't push the buttons to see if it works and they don't list it as working yet. When I get them they do work rarely and I don't even need to rebuild them although I do.
Cassette 2go. I think in Japan when they list something as junk it just means it hasn't been tested. Fabulous collection by the way.
I bet you have no earthly idea how much? I hate that word tested# when you have something there and you plug it in and you press a button and you can say hey it does something or it don't do something, they don't do anything. They just point to it and say junk!
I don't trust anybody unless they list out the "testing" or "serviced" items. Both can mean anything.
