Hi walkman colletors, Anybody of you has a clue what I am doing wrong? I am not a rookey as around 2010-12 I repaired many of these Aiwas. The only change is that my eyes was sharp 8 years ago but now I need magnifier glasses to work on these tiny units. At the moment I am trying to repair my jx707 and two jx2000. All of them needed new belt and recapping as usual but after that only one channel is working. By the jx707 I checked test pont tp5(L) and tp6(R) and it is ok, so the problem is between these and the main amp (TA7688F). Main amp also works as voice navigation sound is working by both channel. Also replaced the 2 muting j-fets (2SK880) replaced the volume pot but it didn't help. Before recapping and belt change the tuner partially worked (left channel was missing) After many trials the result is the opposite (now the right channel is missing). I tend to hate this unit as so many hours it take By the two hs-jx2000 after belt change and recapping by both of them the same channel is missing (left if I remember correctly). I used smd caps trough the holes so my first guess was one cup in the signal path might contact with the chassis but hasn't checked it yet. Thanks. Best regards
