Just took delivery of this little beauty! Works perfectly, just needed a good clean out. Shame about the battery terminals though. Not sure I can do anything about that rust! THese are surprising units, good sound and nice deck. Great score. Terminal will clean up, get a wire brush on them and some vinegar.
I’ve seen these come up cheap on eBay relatively frequently but never got one. Not really sure what puts me off them lol. Looks in good nick and if the battery contacts are bad I normally replace them, usually not too bad finding one that’ll fit.
For rust removal, the guys over on garagejournal.com seem to love Evapo-Rust and it's on sale although it's 3.5 gallons. Maybe there's an alternative over there in a smaller jar, or there's always the electrified bath method with a battery charger. https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=394075
Great video Reli, I've got a few bottles of Rust-Oleum I haven't tried yet, nice to know it's ranked #2.
