I thought I'd start a thread with some of the magazines and books I have related to the hobby, feel free to post anything related, with links if there's a way to buy it.

I've got some Japanese Mooks, they're like magazines but they have really neat information in them. They tend to have a ton of photos and are very well put together. Here's one I picked up in Japan, It was priced around $14 USD. The bottom portion of the cover is called an Obi, is just another piece of paper with more information but that's why the photo is crooked.

This book has a lot of cool equipment, some JDM only. The bottom phrase is "Japanese Nostalgia Audio Encylopedia." This company has other mooks on various vintage subjects.

Here's a link to Amazon.jp, they ship to the USA
    https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product...7781629X&linkCode=as2&tag=natsukashidaizen-22

And a link to the publisher, they have some really cool looking mooks, who knew old vending machines were a thing over there.

That's pretty neat how that translator works, now I really want to get a copy of it.

No wonder 1965 Man was going for double cover price, it was put out in 2008!

If these were old and out of print I wouldn't mind access to PDF copies but most of these are new or just a few years old (they have a long shelf life). I love how they still have really nice magazines and mooks over there so I don't have a problem supporting the industry. I just need to start buying a few every few weeks, I really like the ones I own. They have a very tight binding so it's difficult to open fully if I wanted to scan a page.

Some of those catalog pages would make nice posters.
