Christmas / Happy Holidays was always a boom time for retailers so there were lots of adverts suggesting gifts you should buy. I have been doing Google searches for them. I just spotted this video looking at a 1995 catalogue. Amusing to see a calculator disguised as the latest Brick Phone. I don't remember those. If anyone else finds any Christmas Adverts relevant to the forum post them here.
